What kinds of work does Peranich and Shelp undertake?
We specialize in roofing, siding, windows, decking, additions, doors, porches, and remodeling. No job is too big or small, and we approach each with the utmost professionalism and care.

How long has Peranich and Shelp been in business?
Mike and Tom incorporated the company over 25 years ago. Together, they have a combined experience of more than 70 years.

Where do you do work?
Peranich and Shelp proudly serves the Greater Binghamton area.

Are you a locally owned business?
We’ve been locally owned and operated since we opened for business. We also try to buy all of our materials from local vendors.

Do you carry insurance?
We carry all necessary insurance, including both general liability and workman’s compensation insurance.

What are your office hours?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., but you can call us any time and leave a message. We’ll get right back to you.

Who does estimates for Peranich and Shelp?
One of our two owners will do the estimate for your project. This ensures you that one of our owners has seen your job firsthand.

Once I’ve received my estimate, how long of a waiting period is there until my project gets underway?
We do our best to ensure you get on the job list in the order you came in.

If I’m thinking about getting my roof done, when should I call?
We’re pretty busy in the summer, so the earlier you call the better. If you’re considering spring work, we suggest you call as soon as fall.

What if there is something that needs to be repaired before my job can be started?
If there is an associated repair and we have a signed contract, we’ll go to your home and help take care of the issue until we can get there to begin the actual project.

How many crews do you have?
We run two crews: one for carpentry and one just for roof work.

What makes you different from your competition?
We’re a customer-oriented business through and through. Our office staff is always available during the day to answer your questions. When our crew is on your job, that job is the most important job and they work on it until its completion.
